Hydro dams are scattered throughout Canada with the province of Manitoba relying on them for 97 per cent of their energy. In this video, we take a look at the pros and cons of hydroelectricity. Exploring how hydro dams partially maintain a healthy ecosystem but in return have damaged many communities surrounding them through flooding. We will also explore the Pinawa Heritage site, a brilliant and tangible of recycled history that we can all enjoy.
